A Study on the Conceptual Model of Organizational Health, Development of the Organizational Health Questionnaire (OHQ), and Construct Validity Verification

Abstract
The purpose of this study are to verify statistically about measurement tool of organizationalhealth. Recently organizational health been suggested as a practical organization ratings andhas also appeared in the academic research. Therefore, the development of trustable and validmeasurement tool is important in scientific researchIn empirical study, Organizational health questionnaire(OHQ) consists of a total 31 questions. Sub-components are environment fit, task performance fit, vitality, community-oriented. Environment fit is composed of 8 item, work ways fit 9 item, vitality 8 item, communityoriented6 item. The items are created through the existing literature and interviews. The constructvalidation of Organizational health questionnaire(OHQ) is verified through confirmatory factoranalysis and exploratory factor analysis, cross-validation, reliability test, convergence validity,discriminant validity, nomological validity. Convergent validity is satisfied, but discriminantvalidity is not fully satisfied. The correlation between organizational health and organizationalcynicism showed statistically significant -0.487. Theresults of this study, OHQ have been developed Meaningfully by the theoretical, practicaland methodological. The implications and future research directions are discussed.
