Abstract

This study selected four analytical variables—management strategy type, marketing strategy, corporate culture, and information systems strategy—from among the various factors that may influence the performance of Korean information and telecommunications firms. While these variables individually affect firm performance, they were analyzed from the perspective of strategic fit, recognizing that these internal firm variables are interrelated in their impact on performance. The analysis results indicated that the fit among these factors does indeed influence firm performance. Based on these findings, policy implications for strengthening the competitiveness of Korean information and telecommunications firms were presented.
